Scalable branded environment design for a tradeshow
When our client IKO asked for tradeshow exhibit design, we knew right away this was going to be no ordinary booth. Firstly, because nothing we do is ordinary, but also because this particular booth had to fit into a space that could either be 20x30 ft., 20x20 ft., or 10x10 ft.
Scalability was going to be the name of this game, so we created a series of modular components which could be added or discarded, depending on the size of the space. There was a collapsible meeting room that could be tucked away when not in use, and a large feature room with built-in TV screens and a variety of content that could be changed out depending on the audience.
Bringing IKO’s brand to life in the real world
As well as crafty modular pieces, we also wanted to design a booth that spoke to IKO’s roofing expertise. We created a custom trade show booth design involving a large, 4-sided hanging fabric header with roof-mimicking angles to hang over the booth and draw eyes from all across the tradeshow. The booth itself had multiple standing fixtures to highlight different products in different categories, as well as a nod to IKO’s legacy. IKO is a family-owned company that’s been in business for over 65 years, so we made sure their tradeshow booth celebrated their global reach and history with a lovingly-designed timeline of all their key moments and milestones.
