Creating a Memorable Trialing Experience with Sci-fi Retail Environment Production.
Nike’s Lebron 17 shoe featured a big new innovation – Flyknit – which had to take front and center in this retail environment. We steered into the innovation idea by turning Foot Locker into a lab straight out of a sci-fi movie.
A Space Age Branded Environment.
Everything in the space supported the innovative lab feel – from robotic arms in the merchandising displays to the crash-test dummy inspired graphic design to the custom benches in the trialing zone. With the right cladding and propping, doors became spaceship airlocks, basketball courts became a space-age floor display, and shelving became space-helmet inspired bubbles.
A Brand Experience That Started At The Front Doors
We even re-clad the entire front of the House of Hoops with our sci-fi aesthetic. We created a custom timeline for customers to follow through the store, an interactive hand scanner for people to ‘gain access’ to the space, and custom animations for in-store screens to keep the scientific lab vibe alive.
